This book is about the history of some female black African leaders and is absolutely brilliant. It has concise facts about 10 ancient queens of Africa and is interactive with fun activities for all and not just children. It is a great learning tool. My daughter took it into her school for black history month and the school had an assembly based on the book and invited the author to speak to the pupils. Very informative. Would highly recommend for all:- children, adults and schools.

I bought the book and it was amazing. I learned about some black Queens I had not heard about before and it was refreshing to gather some more information on those that I did know about. This is a good tool to use to start teaching your own young princesses about black history. I was both Empowered and encouraged by the ladies in the book. I used the books note pages to write about my own strengths, challenges and dreams. I would recommend it to everyone to read.
